Support Services Available

Seaside Life Services offers a variety of private pay services to assist you on your journey. Contact Seaside Life Services to discuss your unique service option. Free 15-munite consultation. Intake is required for all services.

Therapeutic Support Services

​

Psychotherapy

​

Individual, couple, or group therapy provided via teletherapy (telehealth). Teletherapy is the use of computers and mobile devices to access therapeutic services with a mental health provider. Seaside Life Services incorporates CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), Humanistic Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy techniques and modalities.

Outdoor Walk-Talk Psychotherapy

​

Individual or couples Outdoor Walk-Talk Psychotherapy may involve sitting outdoors on a bench, in a chair or walking in a public place such as a park while addressing therapeutic goals and topics. 

​

Reasons outdoor walk-talk therapy may be an appropriate mode of therapy for you:


~ Clinically appropriate for your agreed therapeutic goals.
~ Provides a therapeutic change of scenery.
~ Increases in-person interactions.

​

Some potential benefits of outdoor walk-talk therapy are:
~ Stress reduction.
~ Relieve body tension.
~ Decrease anxiety.

Pre-Marital, Couples and Relationship Support

​

As individuals, we bring different morals, values, and way of being into a relationship. It is important to discuss opportunities for growth, challenges couples may face, and ways to strengthen communication for the betterment of the relationship.

​

Seaside Life Services use the Gottman Relationship Check-up assessment for couples. Seaside Life Services also uses the Gottman Relationship Builder at an additional fee. 

​

Perfectionism and OCPD Support

​

OCPD (Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder) is defined as 'a persistent pattern of preoccupation with order; perfectionism; and control of self, others, and situations' (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition [DSM-5]).

 

Seaside Life Services is ready to support you in managing your OCPD symptoms and perfectionistic traits; guiding you in building tools and coping skills to assist you at home, work, and within your personal relationships.

Therapeutic Anger Management

​

Therapeutic anger management dives deeper into understanding the history associated with your anger and the roles your anger has played in your life.  

​

Non-Therapeutic Support Services

​

Court-Ordered Anger Management

​

Virtual court-ordered management courses are provided through Seaside Life Services. Individual and group options are available. Necessary court documentation will be provided. 

​

Providers are Level Two Anger Management Professionals certified by Century Anger Management. The Century Anger Management model is accepted and approved by the California State Board of Corrections. 

​

Life Skills Support

​

Life Skills Services are designed to support individuals in developing and strengthening their abilities to lead a productive and healthy life. 

​

Life skills include:

- Daily living and self-care activities. 

- Maintaining healthy relationships.

- Work and study habits.

- Using community resources.

- And more!

 

Life skills services are designed for individuals 14 to 21 years of age; however, anyone seeking support is welcomed to utilize this service. Individual and group options are available.
